Horse riding for the Disabled.

Although some of the pupils in the unit take part in main stream or modified P.E. there are a number of them who take part in developing their balance, co-ordination and confidence skills by learning to ride with the local Riding for the Disabled Centre.

During the summer months the pupils ride outside, but during the winter they use the inside equestrian centre. As a "treat" they are also offered a visit to Olympia to the  Horse of the Year Show in December.

Below are some pictures from our visit in November.
