British Gas / Swindon Advertiser Community Award.

Following our visit to the National Games in September, everybody was keen to raise the £300 needed to buy two sets of Kurls to widen our alternative P.E. equipment.

At the Prize Giving in October Andrew helped raise £72 through donations at the door. Mr Coward was given $50 by an American when he was on holiday in Canada during the summer holidays, and Mel contacted British Gas who donated £137 which enabled us to buy two sets of Kurls plus a target pad.

Not being content with the usual confusion on the last day of term, Mel arranged for Victoria and Donna from British Gas to present us with the cheque in front of the Swindon Advertiser photographer.
